  1. While that seems to be nothing like Nando's, this is exactly how I had chicken everywhere in Lisbon. So much that by the end of the week in Portugal I was 100% sure Nando's is a very Americanized version of the real peri peri chicken.

  2. I learned about "Cheeky Nandos" from Grian, another British youtuber (minecraft). I shared this video with him just a few minutes ago for the grief he gave a not-British youtuber for not knowing what it meant.   5. All good apart from the fact NANDOS cook over charcoal (grill) can't recreate that flavour without one I'm afraid, you should have used a barbecue at least!!!

  7. I made this tonight, though for the marinade I used 11 dry kashmiri chillies and no salt. Chicken turned out good but it wasnt spicy alas. Anyone got any tips? In theory it should have been a hot as a vindaloo (a proper goan one not the curry house malarkey you get in a restaurent)

Purchased a Nando's seasonings satchet from Co-op, two satxhss for 1kg chicken, I did everything it said, I roasted for 2 hours in a foil for the chicken to be perfectly cooked, then cut the foil from top to let the chicken cook on the outside, everything came out perfect but it had no fuckig taste! My mum make better home made roast. I think the seasoning was too watery, u need to rub them spices by hand all over and let it get absorbed for 24 hours

  10. So, this is good but, if you want to take it one step further, coat the chicken in the bottled nandos sauce in addition to the marinade and then, 10 minutes before the chicken is done in the oven, throw it on the hot grill and do 5 minutes on each side. So good!
