16:8 DIET
Popularized by Martin Berkhan, LeanGains, or 16/8, is a style of IF in which the fasting period is 16 hours and the feeding window is shortened to eight hours. During this time, users may eat as few meals as they like, with the most frequent iteration being three meals.
Designed specifically with training in mind, the 16/8 method has specific post-workout suggestions and recommendations and, in nearly all ways, is the most sophisticated form of IF.

In addition to having all of the benefits inherent in other types of fasting, the 16/8 methods is a stand out because it offers an advanced level of hormonal management.

  14. The diet sucks. Im pretty sure you could lose more weight a week by just eating healthier and exercising more. Breakfast is the most essential meal of the day, it is what gets your metabolism going, so to skip that isn't healthy.

  15. I've been doing this for about a year now, but wasn't even aware I was doing it. I eat my first meal around noon and last meal 6 or 7. I am so busy with four kids four and under, that I don't have enough time to eat as much…well, I was 190 when I went in to deliver our last child and I am now 150….so I guess it's working.

    -Wake up
    -Get dressed
    -brush hair and teeth
    -Bike ride to school

    At school:

    -Period 1 class Science
    -period 2 class Geography
    LUNCH BREAK (usual foods: Apple, yoghurt, Clementine, 2 cookies, watermelon
    -Period 3 class Math
    -Period 4 class Business
    -Walk home with friend (But I used to stay after school for a sport I did which was swimming)

    At home:

    I do 1-2 of these
    -Read or write
    -hang with friends
    -play on computer (mostly this)
    -sleep

    Dinner:
    -Meat (usually chicken but other times we'll have pork)
    -Corn
    -Carrots
    -Broccoli
    -Salad
    -Water to drink (or nothing)

    After dinner:

    -Shower
    -Play on computer
    -excersise (cardio, fitness, strength)[Sometimes I do this. Usually every Sunday]
    -go to bed

    Anything I should change? I know I play on my laptop a lot and I need to change that. But anything else? Also I weigh 100 lbs, but the way my back is shaped makes me look waaaay fatter than I really am so I want to lose some of it.
