Benefits of Chia Seeds
1) Chia seeds are naturally low in carbs and high in fibre! 2 tbsps. provide you with the 11g of fibre, which is almost half of the daily recommendation.

2) Because of all the fibre, chia seeds can absorb up to 10 times their weight in water, becoming pudding-like and expand in the stomach when eaten, which keeps you feeling fuller for longer.

3) Hence, it’s often recommended to those who want to lose weight, curb hunger and reduce food portion.

4) The high fibre content will also provide you with sustained energy throughout the day.

5) Consuming chia seeds prior to workout can also boost workout performance for up to 90 minutes. Instead of consuming those sugar-laden energy drinks, eat chia seeds instead.

6) Chia seeds are also ranked amongst the top plant based source of protein, omega-3 fatty acid and calcium.


Simple mix in about 1 tbsp. of chia seeds to 2 cups of liquid of your choice. Let it sit for about 15 minutes or overnight for the chia seeds to expand. If you want to, you can either sweeten with a little bit of honey or maple syrup, add lemon slices or ice cubes and enjoy them chilled!

I’m taking supplements such as Sugarbear supplements.. so is it okay to take chia seed at night and supplements at morning.. because some people said that chia seed work as natural detox.. so will that cut the nutrient of the Sugarbear supplements?? Is it okay to take supplements and chia seed on the same day?? Is it fine to take chia seed everyday?? Pls reply

  3. Hey Joanna, After i drink this will i be able to leave my house without poopin on myself or will i be going to the bathroom all day? i usually lean towards the constipation side, but i go most of the time at least 2 times a day most days!

  6. Hi Joanna !!! Can I Just use chia seeds in my drinking water ?!! Is it b a juice r coffee necessarily?? I don't prefer any f drinks u shown here… chia seeds in just plain water ll does the same job??

  7. I put the seeds in my lemon ginger water in one of those stainless Steel water bottles. I let them soak for about thirty minutes and I shook the bottle before I took a drink and they were all clumped together and hard to swallow. Hmmm….

  9. I made two 16oz jars of chia seed water and had it yesterday. Oh my, was I ever REGULAR (in a good way!)! Felt like I gave my body a good flushing. AND… it made my stomach flatter (of course). Also added some to my home made strawberry water kefir (which makes it kombucha). I'm definitely gonna keep having 2T of chia seeds per day (in drinks). What an awesome suggestion that was! Thank you!
